A 40-year-old Queenstown, Georgetown resident on Monday found himself before the Georgetown Magistrates’ Courts on a charge of narcotics trafficking.
David McGregor stood before Magistrate Leron Daly and denied that on December 29, 2018, at Robb Street, Georgetown, he had in his possession 41 grams of cannabis for the purpose of trafficking.
Police Prosecutor Sanj Singh informed the court that the Lot 33 Anira Street, Queenstown, Georgetown resident was convicted two years ago of similar charges.
Magistrate Daly released McGregor on $50,000 bail. The case will continue on January 21.
