It was fun, thrills and excitement when the Ramada Princess franchise officially opened its kids fun park aback its hotel at Providence, East Bank Demerara.
To be the last instalment to the Ramada chain, which includes a hotel, movie theatre and Fun City, the fun park is one that inspires awe.
With over 20 different rides, the launching saw a large gathering from the public both young and old as the park has the capacity to house over 3000 people.
A wide selection was there to choose from but the main choices were the bumpers cars, shuttle train, carousels and the major attraction, the pirate ship.
The rush was on for the pirate ship which is able to hold over 20 persons at one go. The thrilling ride is a large ship held in the air which moves in a backward-forward motion.
Included at the Fun Park is a large food court with a wide variety of foods.
Guyana Times caught up with a few of the smiling faces who relayed their excitement over the opening of the Park.
One young girl who had just got off the pirate ship expressed delight with the ride: “I love it! It was scary at first but after I sorta groove into it, I totally enjoyed it!”
A mother with her three children noted that she is pleased with the space at the facility.
The theam of the Fun Park is for all to come and have a good time!
