Ramdhani turns up the heat ahead of Finals

Priyanna Ramdhani continued her rampage in the ongoing Guyana Badminton Association (GBA)/Banks DIH Aqua Mist/PowerAde Junior Boys and Girls Singles tourney played Saturday at the National Gymnasium.

The female badminton ace stormed the Girls Singles Under-17 category, defeated Priyanka Shivnauth convincingly two sets; 21-1, 21-1 in the semi-finals. Sacha Parmanand defeated Ashley Escarraga: 21-17, 17-21, 21-18 in the other match of the semis.

Ramdhani then mauled Parmanand mercilessly in the Girls Singles Under-17 finals after emerging unbothered after two sets which ended 21-3 and 21-1. The final day will continue on Sunday with playoffs in the Open Men Singles Semi-Finals and Finals and the Open Ladies Finals with the presentation ceremony being done following the finals.
