West Indies U-16 batsman Rampertab Ramnauth continues to show his class above the rest, carving up a brilliant 265 against Number 73 Village at a relatively small Jai Hind Ground last weekend in the Ancient County.

Ramnauth’s masterclass took his Port Mourant team to a record 447-run win. The left-handed batting sensation had earlier scored a brilliant 179 against Rose Hall Town (RHT) Farfan and Mendes, which led Port Mourant to a win over the RHT team.
In another match-up, Blairmount Cricket Club beat Bush Lot Cricket Club by 261 runs in their latest match, which was held last weekend. Led by an unbeaten 304-run partnership between Romeo Deonarain, who scored 156, and Rashaad Gaffur, who made 110, Blairmount reached 348-1 off 43 overs, with extras contributing 67 to the total.
Bush Lot, in reply, catapulted to 88 with 27 extras. Sajaad Ishmael had 5-6 and Deonarain, who had three catches dropped off his bowling, supported with 3-18. Port Mourant Cricket Club, Albion Permaul Trading and Distribution, Rose Hall Canje and Blairmont have advanced to the play-off rounds of the tournament.
