Orvin Samsair, also known as Nicholas, a 21-year-old resident of Success, East Coast Demerara who has been accused of raping a minor, has been placed on $300,000 bail after his arraignment before Sparendaam Magistrate
Alisha George on Thursday.
Charged: Orvin Samsair, aka Nicholas
Accused of raping a minor under the age of 16, he was not required to plead to the indictable charge, instituted under Section 10(3) of the Sexual Offences Act, Chapter 8:03.
This case will continue on March 28.
