Police in ‘F’ Division (Interior Locations) have arrested a couple from Region One (Barima-Waini) for planting marijuana.
The farm where the illegal plants were found before it was destroyed
According to reports, the police conducted a search on the farmland of the suspects, located at Hotoquai Village, when they unearthed an estimated 400 cannabis plants ranging in height from one to three feet. The plants were destroyed by the police.
The arrested husband and wife are assisting with investigations.
