Region 7 Chairman accepts challenge to lead Rising Stars FC

Rising Stars Football Club, which is affiliated with the Bartica Football Association (BFA), elected Kenneth Williams as President when it held its Annual General Meeting last Friday at the Bartica Community Centre.

Williams, who is also Chairman of the Regional Democratic Council of Region Seven (Cuyuni-Mazaruni), accepted the role of Club President, signalling full support for the game at the local level, and beyond.

Rising Stars FC is one of the leading clubs of the BFA, having produced many talented players over a number of years.
The new Executive Committee pledged to lead the club to higher heights while throwing down the challenge to other clubs that Rising Stars FC will rise to the top of the table, once competition resumed in Bartica.
