Region Two top NGSA students to be honoured

Region Two (Pomeroon-Supenaam) students who performed exceptionally well at the National Grade Six Assessment (NGSA) examinations and have emerged among the top 10 performing students of that region will be awarded by the Regional Democratic Council (RDC).
In an interview with Guyana Times, Regional Chairman Devanand Ramdatt disclosed that Region Two is very proud of the students who were able to achieve high marks at the NGSA examination. To further encourage the students, they will be awarded at a ceremony which will be held shortly.
The Region Two students who have performed exceptionally well are: Emily Jairam of Good Hope Primary, Annalisa Basdeo of Suddie Primary, Muneshwar Beepat of Aurora Primary, Tamesha Persaud of Hampton Court Primary,   Anasie Fredericks of Tapakuma Lake Primary; Sasha Narine, Camera Persaud and Mavena Yogashur of Taymouth Manor Primary; and Alex Muntaz, Lisa Swally and Yogesh Chaitram of CV Nunes Primary.
Regional Chairman Ramdatt posited that education is the key to success, children are the leaders of tomorrow, and the best gift that parents can give to their children is a good quality education.
Congratulations were extended to the students, parents, teachers, and all those who played a part in helping the students throughout their primary school life.
