Rematch of Dataman, Olympic Kremlin on the cards for Caricom Cup

All eyes will be on two of Guyana’s premier horses; reigning champion Dataman and former champion Olympic Kremlin, at the Caricom Cup on Sunday, July 5, at Bush Lot United, West Coast Berbice.
Both horses were seen in practice sessions at the Bush Lot United Turf Club, and reports indicate that the clash of the champions is confirmed.
The Master Z top horse, Dataman, had the better of Olympic Kremlin of Slingerz Racing Stables, but it was by a small margin on their last meet at Port Mourant Turf Club.
Both horses had extended preparation periods, and it will be the perfect preparation for the Guyana Cup, which is quickly approaching on August 23.
A total of 11 races are on the card, and more than GY$15 million in cash and prizes will be up for the taking.
