RHTY&SC and F+H Printery makes donation to ‘B’ Division Crime campaign

The eight cricket teams of the Rose Hall Town Youth and Sports Club, M.S and the F+H Printery of John Street, Campbellville of Georgetown on Friday last donated 0,000.00 worth of stickers to the Guyana Police Force ‘B’ Division anti-crime campaign. RHTY&SC, M.S Secretary/CEO Hilbert Foster at a public face the community meeting with the Police had committed Guyana’s leading youth and sports organisation to assisting the anti-crime drive and only last week had donated 0,000.00 worth of bicycles, sporting equipment and security lights.
The stickers would be placed on vehicles and in business places in an effort to educate the public about the telephone numbers of every Police Station in the ancient county. Under the theme “Together let us reduce crime in Berbice”, the stickers encourages Berbicians to report crime by calling any of the Stations. The Club Secretary/CEO hailed the work of his cricket teams and the contribution of one of the RHTY&SC, MS friends, F+H Printery. He especially expressed gratitude to MR. Fazil and Hakim Hakh for their continued assistance.
The RHTYSC, MS, Foster stated was totally committed to making a positive difference in the lives of others and would continue to support the work of the Guyana Police Force. The cricket teams, Foster stated would shortly be unveiling their massive 2016 Say No to Suicide, Drugs & Crime and Yes to Education, Life and Sports Programme with sponsorship from the Edward B. Beharry Co. Ltd, while a GUYOIL sponsored Berbice Wide Traffic education programme targeting schools and all users of the public road. The cricket teams would also be hosting an inspiration youth forum on the 8th of June for 500 students and would shortly start the construction of a multi-million Family Recreational Park. Other upcoming projects of the RHTY&SC, MS and its Cricket teams includes the Republic Bank Summer Camp for grade 6 Students, a Youth Career and Business Fair, Cricket Academy and Sports Camp and the donation of more items to the Rose Hall Town Police Outpost including an electric fan, tables and chairs.
A Television set and more bicycles. The long serving Secretary/CEO hailed the outstanding work of Asst. Commissioner of Police Ian Amsterdam and his senior officers which has resulted in a decline of crime during the last two weeks in the township of Rose Hall and

pledged that the Club was committed to assisting as much as possible.
Amsterdam in accepting the much needed donation congratulated the RHTY&SC, MS and F+H Printery on being public oriented organisations and stated that the donated educational stickers would play a major role in getting residents actively involved in the crime fight. He stated that the hard work of his officers were bearing fruits. The Commander launched the sticker’s project by placing several of them in the new police vehicle which is now stationed at the Rose Hall Town Police Outpost. The cricket teams of the RHTY&SC, MS involved in the campaign are the RHT Farfan and Mendes under 15, Bakewell Under 17 and Second Division, Pepsi Under 19 and Intermediate, Metro Females and Gizmos and Gadgets Under 21 and First Division Teams.
