The Rose Hall Town Youth & Sports Club (RHTYSC), MS 28th annual award ceremony slated for April 15 at the St. Francis Training Centre to honour its outstanding members and cricketers has received a significant boost.
A Special Committee headed by veteran Secretary/CEO Hilbert Foster and Vice President Mark Papannah have started the preparation and on Tuesday received two major donations from Canadian Surplus of Providence, East Bank, Demerara and Bishwa Panday of P & P Insurance Brokers.

materials. The educational materials included pens, pencils and pencil sharpeners and would be shared out to schools during the Award Ceremony.
P & P Insurance Brokers donated six trophies which would be used to honour the Most Promising Cricketer 2017, Most Discipline Player 2017 and Most Committed Member 2017 among others.
Foster hailed the support of the two Companies and stated that Corporate Guyana has full confidence in the work of the club, due to its outstanding record of achievement and most importantly, to fulfill every commitment made to sponsors.
The club’s Cricketer of the Year would take home over $350 000.00 worth of prizes while other awards would include Most Promising Cricketer, Most Improved Player, Discipline Player of the Year, Under-15 Player of the Year, Female Cricketer of the Year and Under-19 Cricketer of the Year.

The ceremonywould involve the honouring of 40 club members while they will also be honouring Law Enforcement Officers, Retired Teachers, Outstanding Teachers and Top Students from several schools.
A total of close to $2.5M worth of trophies, medals, gifts and special prizes would be shared out to all the Awardees’
