Rockaway Group of Companies supports St Cuthbert’s Mission sport development

Businessman and sports enthusiast, Hafeez Ali will be making a tangible donation to the Amerindian village of St. Cuthbert’s Mission to assist the residents with sports development.
The New York businessman who recently supported the resuscitated Belle Vue Sports Club with uniforms for their tour to Trinidad and Tobago will be donating sporting gears, clothing items, school supplies and toys today to the village that is accessible via the Mahaica River or through the Linden Highway.
The sporting goods include footballs, volleyballs, cricket equipment and uniforms for the respective male and female teams.
A humble Guyanese, Ali has organized a friendly T20 match between Belle Vue Sports Club and St. Cuthbert’s Mission from 11:00h with free food for all spectators.
St. Cuthbert’s Mission has a strong sporting base and annually will be represented at the Ministry of Indigenous People’s Affairs Heritage Sports in cricket and volleyball where they have won a few titles.
Ali manages the well-established Rockaway Group of Companies which comprise Rockaway Auto Sales, Rockaway Transportation Service and Rockaway Roti Shop in New York and has always been a great supporter of sport and sport development in Guyana and North America.
