S Jagmohan Hardware and Construction Services Golf Tournament set to tee off tomorrow

In their bid to reintegrate golf back into the hearts of many after the long break due to the COVID 19 pandemic Lusignan Golf Club has teamed up with S Jagmohan Hardware and Construction Services as they prepare to host the “S Jagmohan Hardware and Construction Services Golf Tournament.” The tournament is set for tomorrow and will commence from 12:00 hrs.

The format of the tournament will be the Stable ford Shotgun Start. The rules of the tournament are:
* Net score at a hole refers to the gross score minus any stroke one is allowed at that specific hole having allocated an overall handicap.
* The index of each hole on the score card will help you to know which holes you are entitled to strokes.
* Index ranges from 1-18 [1 being the most difficult hole and 18 being the least] reflecting the 18 holes to be played on the score card.
* Strokes are allocated to the most difficult hole first [index 1] then gradually filtered down relevant to your HC.
* A player with HC 10 will get a stroke at holes indexed 1 through 10.
* A player with HC 24 will get 2 strokes at each hole indexed 1 through 6 and 1 stroke each at holes indexed 7 through 18.
* A net score of 2 strokes over par at a hole 0 point.
* A net score of 1 stroke over par is 1 point
* Net par 2 points.
* Net 1 stroke under par 3 points
* Net 2 strokes under par 4 points
* Net 3 strokes under par 5 points
* One can discontinue playing a hole if they realise they will score 0
Sharing her sentiments at the simple ceremony was Project Coordinator of the company Vidya Mangalram, who noted that S Jagmohan is one of the best construction companies in Guyana. She was also elated that the company was able to honour some aspects of their core social responsibilities, stating that they were ecstatic to present the cheque to support the tournament.
Also speaking on behalf of the club was Public Relations Officer Anasha Ally who said, “As a representative of the Lusignan Golf Club I am very happy to be the recipient of this cheque, to what promises to be a grand tournament on Saturday. We look forward to the participation of many of our members and others golfers and the presence of this esteem company S Jagmohan.”
President of the Lusignan Golf Club, Patanjilee Persaud, was grateful to the sponsors. He noted that all COVID-19 precautionary measures would be in place for the tournament. Special prizes would also be obtainable at this tournament.
