Dear Editor,
It is happening again: protests escalating into violence and destruction of property, same as it did two years ago following another killing; this time though, eliciting a threat against the life of the President in full view, it is alleged, and it seems with support of, a known political figure.
The threat against the President is no small matter, as we saw from the not-too-distant past when a similar threat was made. It launched a CoI.
This is another sad day in the life of our country, and “One Guyana” remains elusive.
