Dear Editor,
It is with a deep sense of sadness that Bibi Jamila Munir and Mohammed Munir met their end. The circumstances can only be described as barbaric and beyond human comprehension. Those responsible for this dastardly act cannot be considered to be humans. These two persons have made significant contributions to community and the country. Their lost is a tremendous blow to the Muslim community, rice community all across Guyana and more specifically those of Region Three. I pray that those responsible for this act face the full blunt of the law and are brought to justice speedily. We cannot continue to lose outstanding and remarkable assets like these to the hands of barbaric animals. I pray that God grant the families and friends and wider community compassion and love.
