The Guyana Boxing Board of Control (GBBC)/ NexGen Global Marketing’s fight night event dubbed “Sangre Malo”, was officially launched on Thursday at the Sports Max store, Giftland Mall.
The simple yet touching ceremony was attended by a few of the card’s headliners including; Flyweight champ Dexter Marques, Dexter Gonzales along with
promoters, GBBC President Peter Abdool and NextGen boss Aleem Hussain.
Marques will tackle Venezuelan Dionis Martinez in feature main bout; as the current Caribbean and Guyana Flyweight prepares for his Commonwealth title on March 31, 2018 at the Copper Box Arena.
Oragnizers were very upbeat ahead of the fight, dubbing it as important for the Guyanese who will seek to defend their country in the ring. The fighters meanwhile seemed poised as the feature fighters Gonzales and Marques said they were poised and ready to go ahead of the January 20 card set fort the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall.
