A 23-year-old man, who hails from Amelia’s Ward was granted bail in the sum of $50,000 by Magistrate Annette Singh when he appeared at the Linden Magistrate’s Court on a charge of unlawful wounding.
Lennox Estwick, a sawmill attendant of Lot 640 Amelia’s Ward, Mackenzie, Linden was charged in connection with the incident which the Court heard has left the Virtual Complainant (VC) with a three centimetre laceration on the head.
The prosecution indicated that Estwick was previously convicted for a similar incident.
As a condition for bail, Estwick is required to report to the Officer in Charge of the Amelia’s Ward Police outpost every Friday until the completion of his trial
