The Linden Amateur Basketball Association (LABA) has organised the Linden Youth Basketball Guyana (YBG) Under 19 Linden Regional Zone Conference for schools in Linden.
This is a tournament in which six Linden schools are participating for a chance to represent Linden in the Youth Basketball Guyana (YBG) National Basketball Festival, which will be staged from June 28 in Georgetown, after the conclusion of this tournament.

The tournament has trophies and medals for the top three teams, and will initially be played on a round-robin format to determine the semifinalists and then the finalists.
The tournament will continue next Monday with a double header, and it is anticipated that play would be very competition
