On Wednesday, February 20, the Guyana Defence Force Coast Guard will celebrate its 29th anniversary with a bang. This year, the headquarters of the Coast Guard, Ramp Road, Ruimveldt, will be lit with a party titled “Sea, Sand and Soca”.
The event will feature Trinidad’s soca sensation Olatunji and Guyana’s own, Kwasi “Ace” Edmondson. The two artistes are known for their hyped performances and without a doubt they will entertain to the fullest.
In addition to the performances, there will be barbeque on sale whether chicken, pork or beef. Tickets for the event cost $1500 and $4000 for the VIP experience. Music will be provided by Notorious Sounds along with the Banks DIH deejays.
“Sea, Sand and Soca” is sponsored by Banks DIH and Corona. Remember, the place to be on February 20 will be the GDF Coast Guard Headquarters, Ramp Road.
