Secure Innovations and Concepts Inc makes good on promise to Jasmine Billingy
Already the reigning national champion table tennis player in the under-11, under-13, and under-21 years old categories, although only nine years old, Jasmine Billingy has continued to show why she is a great prospect for the future.

She participated in the Juniors Silver Bowl Table Tennis Championships played in the Republic of Trinidad & Tobago recently, and surprised her Trinidadian counterparts with her fierceness and class. She won the under-11 tournament, and took the runner-up spot in the under-13 category.
In the under-11 final, she defeated Ashley Mohammed 3-1 (8-11, 11-5, 11-3, 11-7), and in a close under-13 final, she lost 1-3 (11-5, 11-8, 11-13, 12-10) to T&T’s #1 player in this category, Chloe Fraser.
Jasmine Billingy’s participation at this prestigious tournament was sponsored by Harold Hopkinson of Secure Innovations and Concepts Inc. Hopkinson had promised that if she won in her category, he would present her with a bicycle, and with her triumph, he made good on his promise.
Former national junior table tennis player Denzel Hopkinson, son of Harold Hopkinson, presented Billingy with the bicycle on behalf of his father.
In presenting the gift to Billingy, Denzil Hopkinson said the company is more than happy to be supporting a talented player, who has the world at her feet once she remains focused and disciplined.
“Young Billingy has a bright future ahead of her, and we at Secure Innovations have no doubt that she would make herself and country proud. We are also confident that with Coach France guiding and steering her, she would succeed in her endeavours.
“Secure Innovations and Concepts would continue to support this young prodigy,” he promised.
Billingy has also seen great input and encouragement from her grandparents, Sandra and Colin Sultan. As part of their duty, they ensure she attends all her training sessions, in order that she might maintain a high level of consistency.
And speaking with Guyana Times Sport, Billingy’s personal coach Colin France said, “As we know, Jasmine can make the national take from under-11 all the way to U21, as she always places well in these events.
“The Juniors Caribbean Championships will be played next month in the Dominican Republic. I don’t know if Guyana will be sending her, but, nevertheless, she has the potential.”
