Security guard found dead at worksite

The lifeless body of a security guard was found at ‘Drum Yard’ located at David Street, Kitty, Georgetown.
Police said acting on information received, they went to the location, where the motionless body of the man, who was identified as Troy Wiggins, 46, of Lot 490 Kiskadee Drive, South Ruimveldt was seen lying motionless face down under a shed.
When the body was found on Tuesday, it was clad in a pair of long blue jeans, a black and green long-sleeve jacket, a gray jersey, and black socks.
The body was examined, but no marks of violence were seen. It was taken to the Lyken Funeral Home, where it awaits a post-mortem. Investigations are ongoing.
Investigations so far revealed that Wiggins was suffering from epilepsy, and he was a patient at the Georgetown Public Hospital for 20 years.
