Two Linden based teams have progressed to the semi-finals of the Hamilton Green Knock-out Cup along with Police FC and Soesdyke.

The last two quarter-finals were played on Sunday night at Victoria ground, East Coast Demerara. Mile Rock FC took on Uitvlugt and needed penalty kicks to win after regulation and extra time failed to produce a winner.
Meanwhile, Winners Connection lived up to their name as they beat Den Amstel 2-1 to progress to the semi-finals.
On Saturday Soesdyke inflicted a 5-2 drubbing on Ann’s Grove with young Tyrone Khan netting a hat-trick.
The semi-final fixtures are not yet fixed but the organizers indicate that they are likely to be played early in November.
