Home Letters Sending a stern message to GECOM, persons frustrating process
Dear Editor,
Observing that GECOM and its officials are not serious about recounting the votes, and are antagonizing, stressing and holding Guyanese to ransom, the ABC and EU countries, the OAS and other international organizations should start putting sanctions on the GECOM officials and other parties who are frustrating the process. This will send a stern and clear message to those who want to do their own thing.
We are experiencing what Jessie Burnham said about her brother Forbes – his personal ends to power justifies any means of achieving it; and we, the people, will only be pawns in his endless game.
The government commissioners, the CEO and other officials are making manifest the words of Jessie. GECOM is certainly a national disgrace, and its officials are happy to wash their shame and drink it.
How much longer must Guyanese wait to swear in the rightful winner of March 2 Elections?
Sincerely,
