Several passengers of a minibus were on Sunday evening rushed to the Leonora Cottage Hospital, West Coast Demerara to be treated for injuries they sustained

after the vehicle turned turtle in the vicinity of the Leonora Police Station.
Based on reports received, minibus PTT 5707 was reportedly trailing an ambulance when it collided with motor car PSS 6776, which then collided with motor car HC 9049.
The initial collision reportedly caused the driver of the minibus to lose control of the vehicle, and it flipped several times before coming to a halt. According to reports, the minibus driver is in serious condition.
An investigation has been launched into the three-vehicle collision.
