Vreed-en-Hoop, West Coast Demerara, crashed and caught fire.
According to reports, the minibus crashed into a utility pole in Hague, at approximately 14:00h, before bursting into flames injuring the driver and other occupants in the process.
The incident was confirmed by Traffic Chief Linden Isles, who added that no fatalities were recorded. Isles, however, informed that a few occupants were rushed to the West Demerara Regional Hospital for medical treatment.
