Several persons are currently nursing injuries about their bodies, following a multi-car crash at Bagotstown, East Bank Demerara (EBD), on Friday night.
Reports are the driver of a motor car attached to the Sheriff Taxi Service, allegedly lost control of the vehicle and slammed into two cars at Bagotstown, ECD. The accident occurred at about 21:00h opposite the old KFC outlet.
Information reaching this publication revealed that the taxi, bearing registration HB 9942, collided with two other cars, a white Toyota 212 and another.
The driver of one of the cars was forced to dive into the bushes to avoid being hit by the speeding taxi. He sustained minor injuries about his body.
Meanwhile, efforts to contact Regional Commander Kurliegh Simon to get an update on this incident proved futile.
Investigations into the accident are ongoing.
