Twenty-two-year-old Steffon Blades, called Stefanie, accused of robbing elderly Jamaican tourist Joseph Jewels of US$600 and Gy$40,000,was on Friday released on $75,000 bail when he appeared before Georgetown Magistrate Fabayo Azore.
Jewels told the court that he and Blades had a “business transaction,” but he was instead robbed by the man.
Police Prosecutor Simone Payne made no objection to bail. The case will continue on March 28.
