General Manager of SOL Guyana Inc., Orlando Boxhill, said his company’s longstanding partnership with Shell continues to benefit customers. He noted that the company was proud of its continued relationship with what he said is the world’s leading supplier of high-quality lubricants.

“It is in keeping with this tradition that we will continue to support the industrial and transport sectors here in Guyana. Events such as today’s business forum are designed to ensure that owners and operators can always make informed choices of the best lubricants available, and also make the most efficient use of Shell’s world leading lubricant technology”, the General Manager said.

He said the company’s purpose is to create a setting in which customers and those who are not at that stage could come together and gain knowledge on how to maximize the use of their equipment without losing money.

The event also included a tour of the Shell Lubricants’ Experience Center, where participants familiarized themselves with the many Shell Lubricants’ services available locally.

Other speakers contributing to the forum included Rajdai Jagarnauth, Permanent Secretary within the Ministry of Business; and Colin Sparman, Administrative Coordinator of the Guyana Gold and Diamond Miners Association (GGDMA).

Technical Specialist Jose Hernandez also delivered a presentation at the forum.

The group of industry operators was encouraged to keep using the high quality Shell lubricants, which provide the highest level of protection available on the market.
