Planned to coincide with Pinktober in observance of breast cancer awareness in Guyana, the four-hour event was hosted at the Impeccable Banquet Hall. It saw the attendees – mostly women – being educated on the make-up application process, make-up products as well as skin care routines.
The participants were also able to question Shelto, who did a public demonstration on a model to give first-hand insight into his work.

Gift cards along with make-up bags and other items were also presented to a number of the participants.
The event is promised to be the first of many to be hosted in years to come.
The seminar was sponsored by Fairy Faces Make-up Store; Smile Designer’s Dental Care, Nalini’s Salon, Milani Cosmetics and Amanda’s Bridal and Costume Jewellery.
Shelto, who is one of Guyana’s most talented and in-demand make-up artists, is known for his eye-catching work, which has taken sections of society by storm.
He has done make-up for a number of brides, beauty queens and for persons who just wanted a personal photo shoot. A name that can stand by itself when it comes to make-up is undoubtedly Vincent Shelto.
