Shivraj tops field at Heineken Golf Tournament

With a gross of 90 and a net of 66, Lakeram Shivraj, who played with a 24 handicap copped the Heneiken Golf Tournament on Arrival Day at the Lusignan Golf Course.

Soggy conditions failed to deter golfers who came out for the event which saw golf competitive golf return to the course for the first time in more than a month.

Following Shivraj in second was Aleem Hussein (17) with a gross 85 net 68, and third place went to Gavin Todd (20): gross 88 net 68.

Mike Mangal took best gross prize with 79 while Nearest to the Pin went to Mark Lashley and longest drive to Troy Cadogan.

In brief remarks Club President Hilbert Shields thanked brand manager Darshanie Yussuf for Ansa McAl’s generous sponsorship which has been ongoing for several years.

Included in the sponsorship were several well received cases of Heineken and Heineken LIGHT.
