“Short Boss” being hunted for murder of Timehri mason

As investigations continue into the gunning down of 21-year-old Ronsley Clarke, a mason, of Lot 181 Fire Station Road, Timehri, East Bank Demerara (EBD) in Sophia on Thursday evening, the Police are on the hunt for the suspect, who is popularly known as “Short Boss”.
The now dead mason was gunned down outside a party in Sophia, Greater Georgetown in the presence of his girlfriend.
Guyana Times understands that the victim and the suspect were known to each other and reportedly had a disagreement about a month ago while at a party in Sophia.
However, on Thursday evening, Clarke was in the company of his girlfriend, Alesha Thomas at the C Field Sophia main access road when the suspect was reportedly seen “chipping” into the said party.

could have been raised, he reportedly discharged three rounds in Clarke’s direction. Two of the bullets reportedly struck the now dead man – one to a right rib and one to the right side of his upper back.
The gunman then quickly made good his escape in an unknown direction while the patrons at the party ran for cover. The Police were called to the scene, and Clarke was picked up and taken to the Georgetown Public Hospital by an ambulance, but was pronounced dead on arrival.
A grieving Thomas told the media that she was unclear about the nature of the old grievance between the suspect and her now dead boyfriend, but maintained that it did not warrant anyone dying. She explained that after being shot, the injured man attempted to run, but collapsed a short distance away and slipped into an unconscious state.
The Police have since retrieved two .32 spent shells at the scene. Investigations are on-going.
