A shotgun that was reportedly stolen during a recent robbery committed on Yvonne Singh on October 18 was found at Crane, West Coast Demerara, on Saturday evening.

Based on reports received, at about 20:30h Saturday night, Police ranks acting on information gathered travelled to a location at Centre Road, Crane, WCD, where they conducted a search during which they found a black shotgun casing that was in a clump of bushes on the western side of the street.
As such, the casing was opened and examined. The firearm that was found inside, Police stated, was stolen during a robbery.
The firearm was lodged at the Leonora Police Station as investigations continue.
