Simeon Browne releases new song “Shuffling Party”, featuring Gabby David

Over the past months, Simeon Browne, formerly known as “Lil J” has been creating quite a stir on the local airwaves; first with “Without Your Love”, then “Fall for you” and more recently, “One to Watch’’.
However, the artiste is ready to release his newest song titled “Shuffling Party” – this is the third single released from Browne’s Southern Guardians Album, Produced by Wondamang Productions.
The song references “the Melbourne Shuffle”, a popular dance which originated in the rave scene in the late 1980s and is commonly performed to electronic dance music (EDM).
The single also highlights party scenes in Guyana, referencing Studio Vybz – a popular hangout spot in Helen, Mahaica, East Coast Demerara which attracts massive crowds especially on the weekends.
However, this time, Browne teamed up with Superstar Rocker Gabbie David who suffers from Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS), a chronic (lasting greater than six months) pain condition that most often affects one limb (arm, leg, hand, or foot) usually after an injury.
Since being diagnosed, David has received much support from the RAVE community and continues to perform her famous Shuffling/Shaping moves at headliner shows and festivals.
Meanwhile, the Southern Guardians Album is a project which was started by Browne and his team in April, 2017. It is the first project of its kind, where all the singles are released individually before the official completion and release of the actual album.
Simeon Browne is a Guyanese singer/songwriter, record producer and print/broadcast Journalist whose production credits include Melissa “Vanilla” Roberts’ “Rage”; Jumo “Rubber Waist” Primo’s “Bad mind”; and Surinamese-Guyanese actress, singer/songwriter, beauty pageant title holder and radio personality Ruqayya Boyer’s sensational pop single “Sunshine”.
