Sizzling Horse Racing & Duck Curry fixed for KMTC

This Sunday, the Kennard Memorial Turf Club is set to host another high profile horse racing meet when they present the Raj Ramchartar Construction Enterprise Horse Race and Duck Curry competition at Bush Lot Farm on the Corentyne.

The thrills of horse racing action will once again take to the Kennard Memorial Turf Club on Sunday

Eight heart racing meets are carded for the day of action with the programme beginning with the L-Non Horner who will gallop over five furlongs for a top payout of $80,000. Second place will take home $40,000 while third and fourth will receive $20,000 and $10,000. Entries are set at $9,000.
The K-Non Winners from March 1, 2016 will then match speed in the five-furlong sprint for $120,000. Second-fourth will take home $60,000, $30,000 and $20,000 respectively with the entry fee being $12,000.
After those two races, the highlight event will see a payout of $240,000 to the horse who crosses the six furlongs the fastest in the H1 and Lower class. However, the second placed horse will not leave empty handed but with $120,000 as third and fourth receives $60,000 and $30,000 respectively. $24,000 will be required to enter this race.
In the I and Lower event, horses will go a six furlongs distance for $160,000 and entry setting at $18,000.
Also on the programme, J1 and Lower and L- Non Winner from March 1, 2016 will go across five furlongs for $140,000 and $100,000 respectively before the featured race for $450,000 in the E1 and Lower class. These horses will cover a distance of seven furlongs with entry set at $45,000.
Additionally, there will be a three years old Guyana bred race with details still to be finalized.
