Skull City brawl lands duo in court

Suraj Lallchan, 19, of Patentia, West Bank Demerara and 25-year-old Randy Singh of Patentia House Scheme were each granted $30,000 bail at the Wales Magistrate’s Court on allegations that they wounded each other. Police indicated that the two men were involved in a physical altercation at Skull City, Patentia, on March 10, 2018.
Both plead not guilty to their respective charge. Lallchan told Magistrate Rushell Liverpool that he was never charged before. Singh, through his Attorney, Pamela De Santos, gave a similar account to the court, saying he has never had any prior problems with the law.
De Santos appealed for reasonable bail, highlighting that her client is father to a six-year-old. The case was adjourned to June 7.
