‘Skull’ wanted for fatally stabbing miner at Issano

The Guyana Police Force (GPF) has issued a wanted bulletin for Mark Griffith also called ‘Skull’ in connection with the murder of Shawn Abrams who was stabbed to death during an altercation at 14 Miles, Issano, Middle Mazaruni River, Region Seven (Cuyuni-Mazaruni) on Saturday last.
The last known address for the 31-year-old murder suspect was given as 14 Miles, Issano, Middle Mazaruni River, Region Seven.
It was reported that on the day in question, the victim was in the company of three friends consuming alcohol at a bar when an altercation erupted between him and the suspect.
However, one of the men intervened and separated them but later observed bloodstains on Abrams’ vest. The suspect reportedly ran out of the shop while Abrams collapsed and died a short distance away.
Detectives, after investigations visited several camps in the area with the aim of arresting the suspect. He nevertheless, remain in hiding.
Police are asking anyone with information that can lead to the arrest of Mark Griffith also called ‘Skull’ to contact the police at the nearest police station of at 911.
