Slingerz Family will be celebrating its 16th anniversary in grand style at the Guyana National Stadium on Easter Monday, which will see 16 patrons each riding away with a motorcycle. This is the biggest anniversary celebrations to be hosted by the entertainment group and it is expected to be off the hook. 
The event will feature live out of Jamaica “Free Links”, one of the most versatile dancehall DJs in the Caribbean. He will be accompanied by Selector Stainy out of the Fire Sound Music System. Also, out of the USA are the “youngest and baddest” DJs Ricky Platinum and Fire Oats.
The event will also feature Slingerz Family; DJ Magnum, and Guyana’s versatile soca artiste Jumo “Rubber Waist” Primo. In addition to the vibes, there will also be an award ceremony, where prizes will be awarded to the DJ of the Year, Fan of the Year and Promoter of the Year. The show will be hosted by the Prince of Youtube himself, Gaza Prince.
The event will also feature a live performance by a mystery Jamaica artiste. The promoters are tight-lipped about the person’s identity, but promise to reveal the name of the artiste on the night of the show. Everyone will be admitted free before 20:00h; admission is $2000 after.
