“Soca Rave” for National Park on independence night

As Guyana prepares for its inaugural carnival experience, a number of events are still being added to the list of activities to be held between May 18 and 27.
One of the most exciting events that Guyanese are looking forward to is the Carnival road tramp set for May 26 along an earmarked route in Georgetown.
From costumes to music and live music – all is expected to take the signature event by storm. However, after the tramping is done, it’s the wash down and there is no better place to do that but in the National Park.
It is an event titled, “Soca Rave” brought to you by King Leo Promotions, Wildfire Entertainment and the Guyana Carnival Committee. All the ‘big boys’ will assemble to provide one of the wildest and most provocative experiences ever.
The concert will feature Kerwin Dubois, Patrice Roberts, Blaxx, Nailah Blackman, Rupee, Ravi B, Orlando Octave, Timeka Marshall, Jumo and a superstar studded line-up of international soca deejays who will add excitement to the night’s activities.
All the listed artistes are known for their energetic performances and will ‘mash up’ the place. General admission tickets for the event cost $4000 while the VIP experience is $10,000 and the VVIP experience is $20,000.
