Social cohesion is like a kith and kin affair

Dear Editor,
I read your editorial of December 6, 2019, titled “Purpose of Social Cohesion Dept” with interest and felt compelled to share an observation hereto: Any Guyanese with a clear understanding of social cohesion should look no further nor anticipate any fulfilment of national unity under the APNU/AFC regime, as it was well-exhibited from the onset at Mr David A Granger’s presidential inauguration at Providence National Stadium in 2015. A country of six peoples; the entire ceremony was dominated by one ethnic group (like a kit and kin affair). Undoubtedly, anyone can draw his or her conclusion on the APNU/AFC position on social cohesion as it is clear as crystal for all to see.
