After a brief break for various reasons, the Back to Eden/Permaul Trading/ Khan’s Trading/Trophy Stall-sponsored softball tournament will continue its action on Sunday, September 23, with four matches being played at the Demerara Cricket Club (DCC) Ground.

The battle entails Regal Masters taking on Success Masters, and Albion Masters going up against Narine Masters simultaneously from 10:00 hrs; then, at 13:00 hrs, Regal Masters will play against Tropical Springs, while Regal All Stars will be clashing with Beach Knight.
In last week’s fixtures, Malteenoes Sports Club (MSC) defeated Spikeland Challengers by 9 wickets. Sent in to bat first, Spikeland managed to score 41 all out from their allotted ten overs, with Mark Harold bagging 3-8. In reply, MSC chased down the target in 4.5 overs with the loss of one wicket.
The competition is organised by the Guyana Floodlights Softball Cricket Association (GFSCA), and also features teams in the Masters’ over-50 category and Female Open.
