Kevin Mangall, also known as “Dodo”, a shop owner on Ramsingh Street, ‘B’ Field Sophia, Greater Georgetown, was taken into custody last Friday following the discovery of an illegal firearm and ammunition. According to the Customs Anti-Narcotics Unit (CANU), its agents, acting on information received conducted an operation in the vicinity of Ramsingh Street, B Field Sophia, Georgetown, which led them to search a residence. During the search, a silver .32 Smith and Wesson revolver with a brown wooden handle and a single 9mm round of ammunition were found. At the time, Mangall was at the premises, and as such, he was arrested.
He remains in custody pending charges.
