Jennifer Duncan, a 56-year-old resident of Lot 192 North Sophia, Greater Georgetown, appeared last week before Georgetown Magistrate Leron Daly slapped with an assault charge.
The charge alleged that on October 26, 2018, at North Sophia, Greater Georgetown, she unlawfully assaulted Rakesh Shaw.
Represented by Attorney-at-law Paul Fung-a-Fat, Duncan, a cook by profession, denied the allegation; and in an application for bail, her attorney told the court that his client does not pose a flight risk, and should be granted bail. The Police prosecutor did not object to Duncan being placed on bail, and Magistrate Daly placed her on $10,000 bail. The case will continue today (October 29).
