On Sunday, four top sound systems from the West Side will have a chance to prove themselves and live up to their names at a ‘sound clash’ at the Belle West Community Centre. The event, “Sound Fest and Family Fun Day” is promoted by Electric Family Entertainment.
This is the first event of its kind promoted by the Entertainment Group and from all indications, plans are moving apace to have a successful sound clash. On Sunday, Boom Sound, Power Sonic, Electric Sound and Earth Rulers will attempt to impress patrons and the judges who will ultimately decide the winner.
Not only will the winner have bragging rights for a year but will also receive the winning trophy. Apart from the sound clash, there will be lots of activities for the family, especially the kids, including bouncy castle, trampoline and face painting among others.
There will also be Bar-Be-Que on sale and this will be available from 14:00h. Patrons will be entertained by the talented deejays of the four sound systems but Notorious Sound System and its deejays will be passing through.
