Sparta, Bent Street among top teams to qualify for round-of-16

The group stages of the riveting Corona Futsal tournament have concluded and some of the top sides have made the cut to the round-of-sixteen segment which commences on Thursday at the National Gymnasium.
Sparta Boss, Bent Street, Alpha Warriors, California Square, Showstoppers, Tiger Bay, Mocha, Future Stars, Xtreme Campbellville, West Front Road, Albouystown, Sophia, California Square, Back Circle, Leopold Street and Alexander Village.
The tournament which is collaboration with NAMILCO Wheat Gem and Hero Motorcycle will see the top placed group finishers receive $40,000 for first place, $30,000, $20,000 and $10,000 will be awarded to second to fourth-place.
Attention will now turn to who can win the top prize purse of $600,000 and the championship trophy. Second to fourth will take home $300,000, $150,000 and $75,000 along with the corresponding accolades
Two Hero motor cycles will be awarded to the Most Valuable Player (MVP) and the other to a lucky spectator at the finals on Easter Saturday (March 31).
