With 80 wins to their name Spartons claimed the final of the Pieces dominoes tournament on Thursday night at Dynasty Sports bar.
In the runners up spot was C7 with 78 games while Providence placed third on 66. In the spotlight for the winners were Denzil Thomas and Navin Singh, who were outstanding for their team with 16 and 14 games respectively while Reuben Chato and Andrew Marks got 16 each for C7. The MVP Shawn Davis won 17 games and Junior Smith 15 for Providence.
Meanwhile, action in the Champion of Champions tournament will commence on Sunday at 1223 Gaulding Place, South Ruimveldt. Entrance fee is ,000 and the winning team will take home a trophy and 5,000, runner up ,000 and third place ,000. The player of the final will receive ,000. Double six time is 15:00h.
