The best young cyclists in Berbice are expected to dominate the cycling when the fourth annual Track Attack gets on the way today at the Welfare Community Centre at Rosehall East Canje today.
The event which is being organised by the Flying Ace Cycling Club (FACC) is being staged ahead of the Guyana Teachers Union National Track and Field championships to give athletes and last opportunity at competing as they prepare

for the championships.
The day’s event will see 100, 200 and 400 meters athletics from Districts 6 and 13 as well as cyclist on the field.
Among the featured cycle events will be 25-lap race, the devil takes the hindmost and a race of an unknown distance.
Athletes will have the opportunity of winning attractive prizes. Track attack is only opened to athletes attend school and who will be participating at the 2016 Guyana Teachers Union National Track and Field championships later this month.
A number of businesses have contributed towards the staging of the event. These include; First Impression Hotel, Furniture World, A. Ally and Sons, Payless, Ming’s Optic, Hand-in-hand, Mara and Sons Variety and Fix It Electronic Service.
The day’s activities are scheduled to commence at 10:00h.
