119-5 in 19.1 overs. All-rounder Deandra Dottin smacked an unbeaten 43; while Brittney Cooper 22, Vice-Captain Hayley Matthews 19, and Kycia Knight 16* played crucial knocks. Bowling for England, Kirstie Gordon snapped up 2-27 from her allotted 4 overs, Danielle Hazell and Jenny Gunn picked a wicket each. Seasoned Windies spinners Anisa Mohammed and Afy Fletcher sliced through the English team to end with figures of 3-25 and 3-15 respectively. Pacers Shamilia Connell, Shakera, and skipper Stefanie Taylor chipped in with a wicket apiece. Hazell resisted with an aggressive knock of 32 from 21 balls, supported by knocks from veterans Natalie Sciver and Heather Knight with 23 respectively. Lindsey Smith and Natalie Sciver were also utilised in England Women’s bowling attack. The Windies Women now look forward to their first official ICC Women’s World T20 warm-up match, which takes place at the Coolidge Cricket Ground (CCG) in Antigua on Sunday, November 4. They play India at 4pm (16hrs).
