The Albion Estate swimming pool will have action from July 13 to August 5 for the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport and the National Sports Commission’s annual Adults and Teach Them Young Learn to Swim Programme.
The programme will cater to adults and children who can register via an online portal. Adults aged 18 and above, and children aged 6-18 can register via an online portal.
Parents and students are urged to register early so as to facilitate a smooth flow of the programme.
Transportation will be provided to and from the public road to the estate compound only. Students are required to have their own means of transportation to the Albion Public Road.
Persons who register can also join the Berbice Learn to Swim WhatsApp group where information and updates on the programme are usually channelled to using the link that is provided.
