– hotels for CPL Carnival period available, but limited
By Brandon Corlette
Stabroek Travel, official travel partner of the Hero Caribbean Premier League (CPL), will be ‘giving back’ to customers who book on the Stabroek Travel platform.
Stabroek Travel will be working with Hero CPL to put together bespoke packages for fans who wish to travel around the Caribbean to participate in ‘the Biggest Party in Sport’. From the comfort of their homes and the convenience of their electronic devices, CPL fans would now be able to access great deals on travel and accommodation through Stabroektravel.com.
Stabroek Travel also allows fans to take in Hero CPL action at all four of the 2022 venues. Guyana will be the centre of attraction during the CPL finals, with the Carnival set to take centre stage and excite the globe. Thousands of cricket and carnival enthusiasts are expected to descend on Guyana during that time.
Asked what persons should expect in return while booking at Stabroek Travel, Ryan Deoraj, Key Accountant/ Manager at Stabroek Travel, said: “To answer this in the most direct way, free tickets. We currently have packages where persons currently booking with Stabroek Travel will benefit from complimentary tickets to the playoff games of CPL 2022 (in Guyana). These tickets are somewhat limited and sold out, and the ones we have are limited, so you need to book now.”
Additionally, Stabroek Travel offers the Red Stand ultra-premium experience. “We also have tickets on sale for the Red Stand ultra-premium experience. This is an ultra, all-inclusive package, meaning: it offers a premium bar service, delicious buffet, LED playback screens, private entrance, executive washrooms, and an uninterrupted view of the field, (which) you can purchase via Stabroek Travel,” Deoraj has said.
The hotels in Guyana are almost booked, and Deoraj is encouraging individuals to book early at Stabroek Travel. “Accommodation is available, but limited. We have accommodation available at three hotels in Guyana. The Guyana Marriott, the Ramada Georgetown Princess, and Regency Suites Hotel. The others are fully booked. Availability will depend on your stay.
“We also offer bed-and-breakfast providers with premium and secure locations across the countries, and amenities at a paramount standard,” Deoraj has said.
The CPL starts in St Kitts & Nevis on August 31, before moving on to Saint Lucia for matches between September 7 and 11. There will be matches in Trinidad & Tobago from September 13 to 18, before Hero CPL heads to Guyana for seven group games and the knockout stages between September 21 and 30.
