STAG Stage 7 set to sizzle tonight

As Guyana prepares to celebrate its 49 years as a Republic nation, the National Park tarmac will come alive for the highly anticipated “STAG Stage 7” – the ultimate J’Ouvert experience. Nigel Worrell, Brand Coordinator, Beverage Division of ANSA McAL Trading Limited, describes the Mashramani calendar event as “no other J’Ouvert experience.”
The show is set for Friday, February 22 and will feature Guyana’s recently crowned Soca Monarch Brandon Harding and Chutney Monarch Steven Ramphal. However, the headliner act for the show will be Barbados’ Sweet Soca 2019 Monarch Lil Rick, also known as “Rockey Minaj”.
Casual, better known as “Brawla” will host the show while additional performances include artistes such as Kwasi “Ace” Edmondson; Big Red, backed by the Heatwave Band; Father Moey and Rayvon; Shizzle; DJ Energy; DJ Anisah and DJ Ryan.
According to Worrell, “this is the widest entertainment line-up” since “its three monarchs, one night, and one stage.” Worrell believes while there has been other J’Ouvert parties, STAG Stage 7 has managed to stand out when it comes to presentation, performances, and artiste selection.
Tickets are not on sale and are only available via promotion at selected supermarkets and bars on the East and West Bank of Demerara, East Bank Essequibo, West Coast Berbice, Linden and Georgetown with a limited supply of VIP tickets up for grabs.
The public can be assured that adequate security and safety measures are being put in place at the National Park come Friday evening with the gate set to be open at 19:00h. Persons are also being reminded to not drink and drive and be responsible when it comes to alcohol consumption at this event.
